A Message from Fr. Keith, Parish Priest of St. Mary of the Angels parish 

St. Mary of the Angels School was originally built in the 1850s as part of the complex of buildings making up the parish church and house on Moorhouse Road and Artesian Road, and although the school moved to Shrewsbury Road some years ago, we still have strong links with each other. The school also serves the parishes of Harrow Road and Queensway, neither of which have a school of their own. 

Children from St. Mary of the Angels school come regularly to our Church for Masses on holy days such as All Saints (Nov. 1^st) and the Feast of the Archangels (Sept. 29). I regularly visit the school to meet Staff and pupils, to hear Confessions, and along with our parish catechist, Margaret Wickware, to speak to children about Eucharistic Adoration, which we arrange for them in Church. 

Whether you have been a regular practising Catholic or not in the past, we welcome you to worship with us, and to let us know any ways you would like to contribute to our parish life, or in which we can be of help to you. Our weekend Masses are Saturday and Sunday 6pm and Sunday 11am. During the week we have Mass every day, including Saturdays, at 12 noon. Confessions are available before any Mass or by arrangement. Our programme for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion begins each October and parents are invited to meet me each August and September to register for that.
