In-year Admissions 2024/2025
An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. An application should be made to the school by completing the in-year admissions application form (and a Certificate of Catholic Practice if appropriate) and returning it to Ms J. Chadwick, Senior Administrator. The in-year application form and school’s Admission Policy for 2024/2025 can be accessed via the links below.
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission arrangements for 2024/2025, will be applied. Parents are advised to read the admission arrangements carefully before making their application.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list. Please see the admission arrangements for more details.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing as soon as possible. Applicants must be informed of the outcome of their application within 15 school days of receipt, but the aim is to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within 10 school days of receipt.
You have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel if your application is unsuccessful. If you have any questions in relation to in-year admissions please contact Ms J. Chadwick Tel: 0207792 1883 Email:office@stmaryangels.co.uk

Nursery Top-up/Full Day Provision
Nationally, children aged 3 and 4 years old are entitled to fifteen hours per week fully funded nursery provision. In the academic year 2022/23 this is offered as five morning sessions per week at St. Mary of the Angels with pupils attending our Nursey class from 9.00am to 12 midday.
Some families may be eligible for 30 hours free childcare funding. Please check your eligibility for government funding by visiting the childcare choices website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Parents/carers not eligible for 30 hours free childcare funding can pay for an additional 15 hours Top-up/Full Day Provision which is charged at £105 per week. Payment must be made in advance online at www.schoolgateway.com using the ‘Nursery Top-up’ tab. If the school is unable to offer the Top-up/Full Day Provision due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g. school closure due to severe weather), fees for the Top-up session cancelled will be refunded.
You may be entitled to child care tax credit for help towards the cost of the Top-up/ Full day Provision. For more information please visit https://www.gov.uk/working-tax-credit/eligibility
