Nursery Top-up/Full Day Provision

Nationally, children aged 3 and 4 years old are entitled to fifteen hours per week fully funded nursery provision. In the academic year 2021/22 this is offered as five morning sessions per week at St. Mary of the Angels with pupils attending our Nursey class from 9.00am to 12 midday.

Some families may be eligible for 30 hours free childcare funding. Please check your eligibility for government funding by visiting the childcare choices website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Parents/carers not eligible for 30 hours free childcare funding can pay for an additional 15 hours Top-up/Full Day Provision which is charged at £90 per week. Payment must be made in advance online at www.schoolgateway.com using the ‘Nursery Top-up’ tab. If the school is unable to offer the Top-up/Full Day Provision due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g. school closure due to severe weather), fees for the Top-up session cancelled will be refunded.

You may be entitled to child care tax credit for help towards the cost of the Top-up/ Full day Provision.  For more information please visit https://www.gov.uk/working-tax-credit/eligibility
